Our APN services includes Shared APN, Corporate APN and Static Corporate APN.
Shared APN
A Shared Access Point Name (APN) is a network configuration setting that allows multiple devices to share a single internet connection, similar to a Wi-Fi network. Corporate Static APN
FirstNet provides all the same benefits, features and advantages that is synonymous with our Corporate APN and Mobile Management Platform with the added advantage of a static location based on a much reduced mobile data cost.
Static APN sims are fixed to a specific NodeB (or tower) and as soon as the sim leaves the coverage of that tower, it will automatically be locked.
When the sim is moved into the tower coverage area again, the sim will automatically be unlocked.
If working, teaching and learning from home, remote static offices or any other situation where it is not required to move is needed, FirstNet’s static APN infrastructure is a great alternative to use as a primary or secondary communication platform.
Primary deployment scenarios would include locations where no fibre infrastructure exist, speed of deployment is critical or where high security and management is required.
