Short answer
Yes. FirstNet runs a structured proof of value that tests your main use case with a small user group, against success criteria agreed upfront.
In detail: Trial Cloudflare Zero Trust before you commit
The proof of value confirms fit and shows how Cloudflare improves visibility, control or the user experience in your own environment. FirstNet needs a few things from you:
- A clear use case, such as VPN replacement, web filtering, SaaS and AI control or data protection
- A small test group of users and devices
- Success criteria and timing
- Agreement on who will review the outcome
Example success criteria include replacing VPN access for one team, seeing cloud app and AI activity that was hard to see before, showing that sensitive data is better protected in the test use case, and producing reporting that supports your internal decision.
The proof of value is optional. If you go ahead, rollout follows FirstNet's normal sequence: identity integration, a pilot with a smaller user group, production rollout, then handover and ongoing tuning.
