Short answer
Both. FirstNet is a Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider (CSP) and Microsoft Solutions Partner, so Microsoft 365, Azure and Microsoft security add-ons can sit on one agreement next to your FirstNet Private Cloud, backup, disaster recovery and colocation services.
In detail
What the CSP agreement covers:
- Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise plans, Azure, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
- Defender, Purview and Entra security and compliance add-ons, and Copilot for Microsoft 365
- One consolidated monthly invoice in rand, with FirstNet handling the US dollar conversion
- A licence right-sizing review at onboarding and every 90 days
- A monthly Azure consumption summary and a quarterly optimisation review
Because one team owns both the licensing and the platform, FirstNet can also design and deliver the migrations that go with it, such as Microsoft 365 moves from Google Workspace or on-premises Exchange, Azure landing zones and Azure Virtual Desktop. Private Cloud can peer privately with Azure, so hybrid designs that mix local hosting and Microsoft cloud services are supported. Enterprise Agreements are not transacted, but FirstNet can advise you and help you move to CSP at renewal.
