Short answer
You retain ownership of your data and configurations. FirstNet supports an agreed handover and deprovisioning process, and FortiAnalyzer logs are exportable on exit. Migration work outside the standard service is scoped separately.
In detail
What to expect at exit:
- Exit terms, notice periods and handover obligations are set by your contracted terms and conditions
- FirstNet supports an agreed handover and deprovisioning process in line with the contracted scope
- FortiAnalyzer as a Service logs and reports can be exported, with any export work outside the standard service scoped explicitly
- Migration, rebuild or replacement activity, such as moving to another provider's platform, is quoted as separate work
The same principle applies across FirstNet's firewall services, whether Fortinet or Sophos, on site or hosted.
If you have special exit or migration requirements, such as a regulator expecting a particular handover format or periodic raw log exports, confirm them during contracting so they are written into your terms rather than negotiated at the end.
