Can we trial Peplink bonded connectivity with FirstNet before we commit?

Bonded Connectivity with Peplink · Answered by FirstNet Technology Services

Short answer

Yes. FirstNet can scope a single-site pilot, usually at your worst-performing branch, and uses InControl 2 data at a 30-day review to show how often the bonded edge prevented an outage.

In detail

How a pilot runs:

  • Site choice: the branch where connectivity problems hurt most, so the result is meaningful.
  • Survey: FirstNet maps signal, checks fibre availability and sizes power and UPS.
  • Links and hardware: links are chosen for carrier and technology diversity, and hardware is sized by throughput, ports, cellular modems and environment.
  • Install: pre-staged kit is installed and acceptance tested, with InControl 2 managed by FirstNet.
  • 30-day review: InControl 2 data shows failover events, per-link behaviour and how often the bonded edge kept the site online.

The pilot gives you evidence from your own environment rather than a vendor claim. A single site typically takes four to six weeks to deliver. If the pilot proves out, a wider rollout runs in phased waves, and a 50-site rollout typically takes four to six months.

A FirstNet specialist can help you choose the pilot site and scope the trial.
