Short answer
Typically 6 to 12 weeks end to end. Smaller voice-only Essential deployments can take 4 to 6 weeks, while omnichannel Elite deployments with several CRM integrations and complex IVR run 12 to 16 weeks.
In detail
What drives the timeline:
- Agent count and number of sites.
- Channel mix: voice only, or voice plus webchat, SMS, social and email.
- IVR complexity: languages, skills-based routing, after-hours, overflow and call-back.
- CRM integrations: HubSpot, Salesforce and ServiceNow have native connectors, while custom CTI takes longer.
- Number porting, which depends on the losing carrier and typically takes 5 to 15 business days.
The work runs in phases: discovery, design and quote, provisioning on your Zoom tenant, a pilot and parallel run with your current platform, then cutover with 30 days of hyper-care. FirstNet confirms a realistic timeline once your scope is designed, and does not promise dates that depend on customer-side dependencies or other carriers.
To stay on schedule, have your CRM owner, Zoom admin and a signed Letter of Authority for your numbers ready early, and agree the pilot agent group and cutover window up front.
