Short answer
Yes. FirstNet's managed cybersecurity protects on-premises, cloud and hybrid environments with consistent visibility and control, so cloud workloads and SaaS users are not treated as a separate security problem.
In detail
How cloud is covered depends on the services in your contract:
- Sophos XDR and MDR connect to Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and Google Workspace for identity and cloud telemetry
- A cloud access security broker (CASB) from Netskope or Cloudflare finds risky sharing, misconfigurations and unsanctioned SaaS and AI apps
- Fortinet Hosted VDOM firewalls can act as the firewall layer for FirstNet Private Cloud workloads and connected sites
- Cloudflare protects public-facing apps and APIs with WAF, DDoS and bot protection at the edge
- Mimecast sits in front of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace email
Cloud security is scoped like every other layer: FirstNet confirms which platforms, tenants and workloads are in scope during discovery. Compliance remains a shared responsibility that depends on your configuration and governance.
A FirstNet security architect can map your cloud estate to the right controls.
