How do I buy business voice minutes from FirstNet?

Business Voice Minutes · Answered by FirstNet Technology Services

Short answer

You choose a plan that fits your calling pattern, such as pay-as-you-go minutes, a monthly bundle or a committed volume, and FirstNet activates it on your PBX, VoIP platform or SIP trunk so you can start calling straight away.

In detail

Getting started takes three steps: connect your PBX, VoIP platform or SIP trunk to FirstNet, activate your preferred minute plan, then start calling with real-time monitoring and usage controls in place.

The plan options:

  • Pay-as-you-go minutes, suited to SMBs that want a low commitment.
  • Committed monthly bundles, suited to enterprises and resellers with steady volumes.
  • Voice Bundles on FirstNet SIP Trunks, with a fixed number of inclusive minutes.
  • Voice Rate Options, with per-minute rates and a custom rate sheet on request.
  • Specialised international routes for calls to global destinations.

All calls are billed per second. On SIP trunks, channels are a monthly operating cost on 12, 24 or 36-month terms. Because pricing depends on traffic volume, destination mix and routing requirements, FirstNet prepares a customised rate card based on your call profile. If you are moving from another carrier, a FirstNet Voice Readiness Assessment can map out the migration phases and timelines.
