Short answer
Nothing changes for them. Calls to people without Truecaller behave exactly as they do today, with no degraded experience. Truecaller is a top-five communication app in South Africa, so a meaningful share of your customers will see your verified identity, and that reach grows as adoption grows.
In detail
Who sees what:
- Recipients with Truecaller on Android or iOS see your business name, logo, category tag, green verified badge and the call reason while the phone rings.
- Recipients without Truecaller see your number as they would today.
- Calls connect normally on every network, because Truecaller for Business is a presentation and trust layer, not a replacement for your telephony.
Because reach is never 100%, FirstNet does not promise a reach figure for your customer base. Instead, a pilot on one or two priority numbers measures answer rates against your own baseline, and the analytics dashboard shows answer rates, time-slot patterns and spam-report trends over time.
If you also message customers, Verified Message ID can extend your verified identity to SMS for one-time PINs, payment alerts and delivery notices, so recognition is not limited to voice calls.
