Short answer
Yes. FirstNet has more than 5,000 business sites under management and delivers over 300 new business links every month. For a single customer it has delivered more than 1,700 sites at a rate of over 170 per month.
In detail
Large rollouts are run as one programme, with one contract, one SLA and one team managing every link, rather than as separate projects with each carrier. The delivery model:
- Discovery and planning: map sites, dependencies and rollout order.
- Feasibility per site: fibre first, then licensed microwave, fixed wireless, LTE/5G and LEO satellite where needed.
- Provisioning: carriers and logistics coordinated across regions, using standardised processes and templates.
- Handover: each link gets a Service Handover Form and moves to NOC monitoring.
- Evolution: add sites and services with minimal overhead.
Because FirstNet is carrier-agnostic across every major fibre and mobile network operator, each site gets the best available last mile rather than one network's coverage. Centralised change management handles system-wide changes, and LTE/5G can bring sites live within days where fibre will take longer. FirstNet already provides centralised management and billing across hundreds of branches for a retail customer.
