Short answer
Yes. FirstNet works with partners around the world to offer the same services beyond South Africa. Cross-border circuits need partner arrangements and separate licences, so FirstNet scopes each case before it quotes.
In detail
How FirstNet runs a rollout across several regions:
- Discovery and planning: map your sites, what depends on what, and the rollout order.
- Provisioning: line up carriers and logistics in each region.
- Support: one helpdesk, NOC monitoring and a clear path to escalate.
- Growth: add sites and services with little extra overhead.
For one manufacturer, FirstNet joined up the network across Africa, Europe and Asia-Pacific (APAC). The result is predictable performance. Some services already reach past South Africa. FirstNet's LEO satellite service, on Eutelsat OneWeb, is offered in South Africa and across Africa. International traffic runs over multi-peer transit at hubs such as London, New York, Frankfurt and Singapore.
For sites outside South Africa, expect a scoping step before pricing. That is because licensing and partner deals differ by country. Within South Africa, FirstNet gives you one partner, one contract and one SLA across all your sites.
